Misled Youth was invited to the 4th Annual Positive Youth Fest in DC on December 29th and 30th. Four of us went to participate in a panel discussion entitled, “Youth Resistance, Youth Liberation”. This is the description:

Join members of the Baltimore Algebra Project from Baltimore MD, Misled Youth Network from New York City, and the Students for a Democratic Society chapter from Lancaster, PA in a panel/interview/discussion about stepping up and stepping it up as young people who want to see social change in the world. We’re gonna talk about anger, hope, inspiration, organization, identity and getting shit done. Expect participation. Expect to learn from amazing youth organizers in action.

The panel went really well. We also silkscreened on people’s clothes, sold patches and t-shirts, met some great people, checked out some cool local bands, ate an insane amount of free burritos, and had lots of fun! Misled Youth is looking forward to our next opportunity to hit the road!
